Ron RichterThe City of Sheridan currently does not have a master plan for fire service in the City. That will change soon however, as the City Council will be considering hiring a firm to prepare a long-range master plan for Sheridan Fire-Rescue. At a City Council study session Monday night, Fire Chief Gary Harnish said that he reached out to four different vendors in November, three responded and one declined.
Harnish is recommending the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger hire Emergency Services Consulting International to prepare the master plan at a cost not to exceed $50,403. The Council will consider hiring the firm during an upcoming regularly scheduled business meeting.
