White Cross Slide Project Update

Crews with the Wyoming Department of Transportation began work last year on the White Cross slide on US 14 west of Dayton. WYDOT Public Involvement Specialist Laura Dalles, while a guest on our news talk show Public Pulse, provided an update on the project.
The project is expected to be finished this fall. Dalles said that once the conditions on top of the mountain permit, crews will start back up on the Observation East slide on US 14A.
We’ll hear more from Dalles, and Resident Engineer Mick Brinkerhoff about some upcoming WYDOT construction projects in the Sheridan area, in a future story.
