Jo Co P&Z to Review RFP for Land Use Plan at Tuesday Meeting

The Johnson County Planning & Zoning Commission will have its regular meeting for December Tuesday evening.

The commission is expected to review Request For Proposals (RFP’s) for the update to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, as explained by County Planner Jim Waller.

Waller said the current land use plan was compiled with information from 1997 through 2002 and is in need of an update to the data contained within.

Also on the agenda for the meeting is the report from P&Z staff and the approval of minutes from the previous two meetings.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. (Tuesday) tonight in the County Planning Office located in the County Annex Building at 26 North DeSmet Avenue.
