On Saturday, Dec. 2nd, Santa Claus arrived via plane at the Sheridan County Airport’s Main Terminal for the second annual Santa fly-in event. Loads of parents and children lined up to greet Kris Kringle. As he arrived attendees savored the moment with some lovely hot chocolate and marshmallows provided by Sheridan Memorial Hospital and music that filled the air with Christmas spirit.

Children eager to meet Mr. Claus were encouraged to write a letter to him describing whether they’ve been naughty or nice, why, and what they would want for Christmas. The letters could be decorated with fun holiday stickers as well. Upon meeting Santa, attendees would hand Mr. Claus their written letter and get a photograph with the man himself.

The event was held by the Sheridan Pilot Association and Sheridan Pilots 307, who put up all the decorations and managed all the different stations for the participants. They were extremely happy to share the holiday spirit with everyone who attended.
