WY Dept. Of Corrections Announces Inmates Have Been Moved In And Out Of State

The Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC) announced the placement of offenders in the Sublette and Lincoln County jails.
In addition, the Department moved 240 Wyoming inmates to the Tallahatchie Correctional Institute in Tallahatchie, Mississippi.
The out of state transports took place Wednesday, November 29th and Thursday, November 30th.
Both transports took place without incident.
The reassignment of these offenders to the out of facility and state location are a result of staff vacancies.
The WDOC anticipates maintaining inmates out of facility and state until staffing increases within the agency.
Inmates will be returned immediately as vacancies improve.
