Aaron PalmerAt their last regular meeting the Johnson County Commission accepted changes to their subdivision regulations, as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The vote was taken after a 45-day public comment period from August 10, 2023 through September 25, 2023 and after the P&Z Commission held a public hearing on October 3.
According to information on the county’s P&Z website, “the proposed amendments correct minor grammatical errors, modify the use and implementation requirement in Article III, clarify preliminary plat distribution in Article V, add storm water and runoff plans for major subdivision development in Article VI, and acknowledge improvement requirements on the application.”
