Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett gave his monthly report for August during the recent city council meeting.
He detailed a couple of incidents.
He wanted to remind residents to lock their cars and to keep valuables out of sight.
Bissett said Dispatch handled 3,468 calls during the month, and Erika McCarter, who works in the front reception area of the Justice Center, handled 183 walk-ins in August.
There were 4 arrests made during the month.
