The Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter will be holding a dinner and comedy night to bring attention to and raise some funds in support of longtimers at the shelter.
A “longtimer” is a term used at the Dog and Cat Shelter referring to animals who have called the shelter home for over six months. According to Executive Director of the Shelter, AJ Evans, some of the longtimers have called the shelter home for nearly three years.
The Spaghetti Dinner Comedy night will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the Kalif Shrine.
Evans spoke on the event during a recent appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse.
