WY Dept. of Education To Provide Lunch Program Regional Training

The WDE Nutrition Team will be providing free National School Lunch Program regional training this fall with a focus on compliance and USDA updates.

Registration materials will be sent out.

Training will be held in Sheridan on September 12th, Powell on September 13th, Rock Springs on October 3rd, Riverton on October 4th, and Cheyenne on October 25th.

The Early Childhood Team has launched the Get Wild Wyoming initiative in partnership with Wyoming State Parks, Wyoming Game and Fish, and the Wyoming Department of Health.

A total of 14 classrooms at six pre-k sites will receive packages with water bottles, sunglasses, sunscreen,
bug spray, and first aid kits from our statewide partners to encourage healthy learning and exploring outdoors.
