Ron RichterWyoming Department of Transportation District 4 officials met with the Sheridan City Council at this week’s study session to present their annual State Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP). The STIP is a six-year program approved by the transportation commission and it provides a snapshot of existing and expected projects and their schedules, and is continually updated. The current STIP is for the years 2023-2028 and represents the planned construction, preliminary engineering, and right of way costs of each project. District Four Construction Engineer Isaac Finkle highlighted a few of the upcoming projects for the Sheridan area.
Finkle said the STIP distribution for Sheridan County is for just under $92 million. For more information on WYDOT’s STIP and all of the projects included in the plan, click here.
