Johnson County Accepts Drug Court Grant

The Johnson County Commission has voted to accept grant funding from the Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division for the county’s Alternative Treatment Court Program.
County Attorney Tucker Ruby explained that the county enters into an annual agreement for funding to continue the county’s drug court program alternate treatment program.
He said this year the county received additional funding for the program.
The total amount awarded this year is just over $63,000 broken down as roughly $56,000 for operations; about $1,700 for testing supplies and testing services; and an additional $5,200 for special projects.
Ruby said this is the same contract with no changes, other than the amount awarded to the county from the state.
