A 27-year-old Sheridan man was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court for distributing methamphetamine in the Sheridan area. District Court Judge Darci Phillips accepted the terms of a plea agreement reached with the State and sentenced Anthony Cash to 3 to 5 years in prison for each of three counts of delivery of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. The sentences will run concurrent to one another. A charge of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and two other delivery charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. Cash was ordered to pay $775 in various court costs and fees and $2,250 in restitution and was given 196 days of credit for time served.

According to court documents, in August of 2021, Special Agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation received information that Cash was allegedly selling methamphetamine in the Sheridan area. On October 19, 2022, Cash was arrested and charged with distributing methamphetamine.
