Ron RichterA special meeting of the Sheridan City Council was held Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details
The City Council, during a brief special meeting, approved second reading of an ordinance that amends chapter four of City code pertaining to alcohol. City Attorney Brendon Kerns says the changes to code are needed because of recent action by the Wyoming Legislature
Kerns said the City currently has two bar and grill licenses and will be receiving four new licenses from the State on July 1 and ordinance 2266, which Council approved on second reading, is intended to address the effect of four additional licenses, the broadening of the use of bar and grill licenses and other related licensing issues. The City Council is expected to consider third and final reading of the ordinance at their first regularly scheduled business meeting in May.
