Buffalo Council Approves Lease of Wastewater Rental Property

The Buffalo City Council has approved a lease on the city-owned rental house on the wastewater treatment plant campus.

At their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon, Mayor Shane Schrader said the current occupant at the property is moving, and a city employee has shown interest in renting it after they leave.

According to discussions, the monthly rent will be $1,000 with the lease beginning May 1.

The name of the employee was not announced by the council.
