The City received three bids for the project with O’Dell’s bid being the lowest qualified bid. The City Council also approved first reading of an ordinance amending Chapter Four of City code pertaining to alcohol, the transfer of ownership and location for Retail Liquor License #23 to Historic Cady, LLC, and a resolution allowing for diagonal parking and the realignment of Alger Street in downtown.

I think that is a great idea for the locker room project, however not so great for the diagonal parking on Alger street. Good example is the diagonal parking in front of Blacktooth Brewery. Folks will not be able to see the cars coming when pulling out into traffic especially when folks with big a** trucks parking next to you.

Maybe they should look into the back in diagonal parking. They do that on a couple of the streets in Billings downtown and you can see backing in and pulling out. So much safer I feel.
