Trial Date Set for Sheridan Man Charged with Felony DUI

A trial date has been set for 38-year-old Levi Rockafellow of Sheridan for the charge of felony driving under the influence. The charge is being prosecuted as a felony because it would be Rockafellow’s fourth DUI conviction in 10 years, which is a felony in Wyoming. Rockafellow has been convicted of DUI in 2008, 2016, 2020 and 2021. District Court Judge Darci Phillips set a two-day jury trial for July 31 and scheduled a pretrial conference for July 6 at 9 am.
A bond modification request was denied by the Court and Rockafellow will continue to be held at the Sheridan County Detention Center to await trial. Felony DUI in Wyoming is punishable by up to seven years in prison and a fine of not more than $10,000.
