JCHC Board Approves Community Health Needs Assessment

The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center has approved their Community Health Needs Assessment for 2022, which is good for three years.
Board President Dr. Mark Schueler explained that since the passing of the Affordable Care Act, healthcare institutions are required to compile the assessment every three years.
CEO Luke Senden talked about the assessment during the recent hospital board meeting.
He said according to the survey, there were three areas that the facility should concentrate on for improved service to the community, which are mental health, aging population, and physical wellness.
The completed assessment will be soon be posted on the JCHC website.
