City Council to Address Ordinances on Open Space and Emergency Powers

Second reading of an ordinance that revises municipal code sections regarding open space will be considered by the Sheridan City Council at their regularly scheduled business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger provides details of what the ordinance entails.
The ordinance, as it was approved by the Council on first reading, has open space requirements of 8 percent for R-1, 10 percent for R-2, 17 percent for R-3, and 10 percent for R-4.
An emergency powers and response ordinance will be considered by the City Council on first reading.
The Council will hear from Parks Director Steve Gage on the year end review for Kendrick Golf Course and Sheridan County Travel and Tourism Director Shawn Parker will provide a Skijoring update. The City Council meeting will take place at 7 Monday night in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
