JCSD1 Board Swears In New Members

The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees swore in their newly-elected members at their regular meeting Monday night.

The new members are Marcia Goddard, Travis Pearson, and Casey Rodriguez, and also sworn was returning board member Dave Belus.

Superintendent Charles Auzqui spoke positively about the incoming board members.

He also spoke highly of outgoing boardmembers Mike Moon, Mary McCorkle, and Paul Rickett.

The newly sworn board members will officially take their seats on December 1, and their first meeting will be later that month.
