JCSD1 Board Approves WHSAA Participation Applications for 2022-23

The board of trustees for Johnson County School District #1 have approved the application to the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) for students to participate in activities and to register the schools in their perspective classifications.
For Buffalo High School, their classification will be 3A and they will have 27 activities for students to participate in.
Fees for school classification is $1,100; activities fees are $2,715; for s total of $3815.
Catastrophic insurance for participating students in 5th through 12th grade is $3,570.
Kaycee will be classified as 1A and will offer six activities for students.
Fees for school classification is $1100 ; activities fees are $360; for a total of $1460.
Catastrophic insurance for participating students in 5th through 12th grade is $469.
Activities applied for at BHS include boys basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, indoor and outdoor track and wrestling.
For the girls it’s basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, indoor and outdoor track, volleyball, and wrestling.
There are also combined activities art, FBLA, FFA, marching band, music, Skills USA, speech, Spirit, and student council.
For the Kaycee boys, there is basketball, football, and outdoor track.
For the girls, there is basketball, outdoor track, and volleyball.
