Sheridan College on Wednesday announced their fall semester community interest class offerings list. The classes will provide opportunities for anyone interested to dive deep into a preferred area of interest. Classes offered include a wide variety of topics in subjects such as art, technology, outdoor, and cultural topics. Students can earn one to five credits in two to 15 weeks.  Since class offerings are limited in spots, college officials encourage those interested to sign up as soon as possible.

The art sector of interest classes offer a wide variety of topics to choose from that include design, guitar ensemble, music technology, opera, live sound techniques and pottery. Those interested in technology will have the chance to learn about computers, general welding, or gunsmithing. Outdoor enthusiasts will be able to  study assorted styles of yoga or begin a fly-fishing experience by enhancing their knowledge of basic knots and turning their casting techniques into an art. There is even training for pre-hospital emergency care to earn your Wyoming State certification from the Department of Health Emergency Medical Services as a first responder.  There are also many opportunities to study cultural effects, including a class to dissect the Native American history from European arrival through the 20th century or experience an introduction to poetry inside a community-oriented classroom.
