Cemetery District Accepts Bids for Projects

The Johnson County Cemetery District Board has approved and accepted two bids for projects at the cemetery site during their regular Tuesday meeting.

The first is from M and N Construction for a project at the office building, as described during the meeting.

The total bid for the project is for $8,400.

The second project is to supply and install 400 feet of 4-inch PVC pipe with two gate valves and drain connection on a water line in the cemetery.

Materials, according to Broken Pipe Wrench Plumbing, LLC are anywhere from four to six weeks out once the order is placed.

The board voted to accept the bid of $13,550 for the project, effective July 1, to come under the budget for fiscal year 2022-23.
