School Board Approves Extending COVID Leave

The Board of Trustees for Johnson County School District #1 voted to extend COVID-related leave for district employees through the end of the school year.

Superintendent Charles Auzqui brought the request before the board at this week’s meeting.

Auzqui said there is still funding for the program through the Wyoming Department of Health, and that funds would not be coming from the district’s General Fund to continue the program.
