Taffner Celebrated by Boys & Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club of the Bighorns held their 6th Annual Awards and Breakfast Recognition event Wednesday morning to honor the life of Buffalo’s Edie Taffner.

Jim Hicks spoke about Taffner and her contributions to the community and the Boys and Girls Club.

Former Denver Bronco Karl Mecklenburg was the Keynote Speaker at the event, and he spoke about the importance of people stepping up and making a positive difference in other people’s lives.

Taffner thanked everyone for the recognition.

Taffner finished by saying, “I’m sure Karl had something to do with (the turnout).”
