Trial Date Set for Sheridan County Man Charged With Three Counts of Felony Voyeurism

A new trial date was scheduled at a recent hearing in Fourth Judicial District Court for a Sheridan County man charged with three counts of Felony Voyeurism. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Trial Date Set for Sheridan Man Charged With Three Counts of Felony Voyeurism

A four-day jury trial for Shaun Kobielusz is on the Court docket for December 20 and a pretrial conference is scheduled for December 2 at 11 am. The new trial date was set at bond modification hearing for Kobielusz where District Court Judge John Fenn granted the prosecution’s motion for supervised visitation between Kobielusz and two of the alleged victims in the case who are minors.

Kobielusz was arrested in April  for allegedly placing video recording devices in a bedroom and bathroom of his home and using the devices to record three individuals, two minors and one adult, without their consent. The alleged criminal activity occurred between November 1st and the 10th of 2020.  If convicted on all three counts, Kobielusz faces up to 6 years in prison and fines of up to $15,000.
