Powder River District Ranger on Road Closures, Enjoying Public Lands

John Wallace is currently the acting District Ranger for the Bighorn National Forest’s Powder River District based in Buffalo.

He spoke with Sheridan Media about road closures on the district, saying there would be nothing out of the ordinary.

These are all regular, seasonal road closures that are in effect every winter in the Powder River District, according to Wallace.

Wallace said he is fond of the Bighorn National Forest and encouraged everyone to use their public lands.

Wallace will soon take his new position with the Forest Service in Idaho.
