Pool Design Discussed at Council Study Session

The results of the public involvement process on improvements to the Kendrick Pool in Sheridan were discussed at a study session of the Sheridan City Council Monday night. City Engineer Hanns Mercer said that “option D” was the most well received out of the four options that were presented online and through a series of public input meetings. He said that the number one amenity that the public wanted to see included in the renovation was the “lazy river.”
The Council discussed the idea of a phased approach to improving the pool.
The four options that are on the table for renovating and improving the pool range in price from $2.6 million to $5.7 million. The Council is expected to make a decision on on the pool at their regularly scheduled meeting this upcoming Monday night.
