DSA Director Talks Third Thursday, Farmers Market Attendance
The executive director of the Downtown Sheridan Association provided an update on the organization to the Sheridan City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger Tuesday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
DSA Executive Director Zoila Perry updated the Council on the various events that the DSA has held this year. Perry discussed the attendance numbers for the Third Thursday events in downtown Sheridan.
Third Thursday in August was cancelled due to inclement weather. Perry went on to discuss the weekly Farmers Market that takes place every Thursday in downtown Sheridan.
The last Farmers Market of the season will coincide with the last Third Thursday event, which will take place September 16. Other projects Perry highlighted were the Goose Creek Polo Cup, the flowers along Main Street and the inaugural Kentucky Derby Party that was held May 1 at Welcome Market Hall.
