Pat BlairThe Bighorn Audubon Society has announced the group’s activities for April and May.
Events start at 9 a.m. Saturday with Birding at the Brinton. Those planning to attend will meet in the main parking lot at the Brinton Museum near Big Horn, and attendees are advised to dress for the weather and bring a mask in case social distancing outdoors isn’t possible.
On April 24, also a Saturday, Dr. Jackie Canterbury and Tina Toth, along with other Bighorn Audubon members will lead a walk around the gallery grounds and ponds at Ucross. Those planning to attend should meet at the Ucross Foundation Gallery by 10 a.m. The event is open free to the public as well as Bighorn Audubon members.
On May 15, another Birding at the Brinton session is planned, starting at 9 a.m. at the Brinton Museum’s main parking lot. Attendees are again asked to dress for the weather and bring masks in case social distancing outdoors isn’t possible.
Also on May 15, starting at 11 a.m., the Bighorn Audubon Society will have its annual meeting. The event will be at the Brinton’s education pavilion and will include a box lunch, bird book sale and silent auction.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by April 26 if they would like to participate in the Bistro Box Lunch. More information is available at bighornaudubon@gmail.com.
