Blacktooth Park Phase Three Project

In January, the Sheridan City Council passed a resolution authorizing submission of a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant for the Blacktooth Park phase three project. City Public Works Director Lane Thompson said the resolution had to be brought back before the Council for their approval after it was determined that in order for the resolution to meet the requirements for all partners involved, several updates to the document were required.

The newly worded resolution was adopted by the Council at their most recent meeting. The City will apply for a grant in the amount of up to $500,000 for the construction of an inclusive playground at Blacktooth Park that will meet all ADA requirements.
