Extreme Cold to Last Through the Week and Into the Weekend
The extreme cold temperatures aren’t going away anytime soon. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Dangerously cold temps are expected to last through the week and into the weekend. Aaron Gilstad, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Billings, says there will be days in Sheridan this week where the high temperature won’t reach above zero.
Gilstad said lows in the Sheridan area could reach more than -20 below Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, with wind chill readings ranging from -30 to -40 below zero.
Gilstad talks about when we can expect things to warm up a little bit.
Gilstad said you should always have an emergency kit in your vehicle that includes jumper cables, blankets and extra food and water.
