JCHC Reports No Current Active COVID Cases

During the most recent Johnson County COVID-19 EOC briefing, Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Sean McCallister said that there were no active COVID cases in the inpatient population.

The facility did need to isolate the residents in the Amie Holt Care Center due to an exposure in the staff.

McCallister discussed testing for the virus in the community.

The second vaccine dose for staff members will begin this week, and next week the JCHC, along with public health, will begin second doses for long-term care facilities, according to McCallister.
