Cheney: ‘I Will Vote To Impeach The President’

Wyoming Congresswoman and House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) released the following statement ahead of votes in the House this week:

“On January 6, 2021 a violent mob attacked the United States Capitol to obstruct the process of our democracy and stop the counting of presidential electoral votes. This insurrection caused injury, death and destruction in the most sacred space in our Republic.

“Much more will become clear in coming days and weeks, but what we know now is enough. The President of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the President. The President could have immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence. He did not. There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.

“I will vote to impeach the President.”

He isn’t a threat to anyone unless you are a globalist. It’s the left crying wolf.

Liz Cheney is the enemy. She has no loyalty to this great state. It is time to recall her as she is selling out to the “Deep State”. I promise you this, hard times are ahead for this great country and she will be responsible. LIZ CHENEY MUST BE RECALLED.

Where were you, Liz, when Antifa/BLM occupied a federal courthouse this summer? Where were you in 2018 when “climate activists” unlawfully entered and occupied Nancy Pelosi’s office at the Capitol? Where were you when rioters in Minneapolis, Portland, and Seattle caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damage to businesses, thuggishly and violently assaulted innocent people, creating an atmosphere of unadulterated terrorism in these cities, killed over 35 people, and injured over 1,000 police officers? Your claim implies that the president intentionally incited people to violence and insurrection, when, in fact all he did at his rally that day was to encourage a “peaceful demonstration” and that his supporters “show strength,” both of which statements have been judged by constitutional attorneys (both Democrats, by the way) Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz to be nothing even REMOTELY close to inciting people to violence or insurrection. And you want to hold him responsible for the illicit actions of others? Your D.C. Swamp roots are showing, Liz. I realize that the congressional “leadership” of both parties are thrilled with your statement, as are many Democrats here in Wyoming. Nice company you’re keeping these days!

The House Leadership finds impeachment not the right plan for President Trump yet Rep.Cheney comes out for it. She has lost touch with Wyoming.

“What we know now is enough” is that how our judicial system is supposed to work? Are “juries” supposed to just say “I got scared, so you are guilty, no investigation necessary. No collection of facts can overcome my emotions, so let’s get on with it the quicker, the better.” . Of course, that would play right into what the left is selling. The whole thing was a set up and unfortunately some were caught in the snare. The “insurrection” that is taking place is happening within the system and is still playing out as the puppet master pulls on the strings. Step down, Liz. You are opting to not represent the majority of Wyomingites as you were hired to do.

I never thought I would ever say this, but kudos Liz. Donald Trump is extremely dangerous. His rhetoric over the past four years has been vile and inflammatory. His followers fell for and believed his lies of election fraud which has been empirically proven to be completely false. The President played on his base’s worst fears by providing them a xenophobic narrative from which they could be perpetuate their willful ignorance. Collectively, his actions (not just his despotic speech of January 6), culminated in the attempted violent over through of this Country’s Government by his most ardent and ill-informed followers. President Trump needs to go and he needs to go now.

The President made a speech that encouraged rioters to storm the Whitehouse. The very lawmakers who today are debating this opportunity to stand up for our nation’s people were threatened in their workplace. We as voters have seen the worst of our nation– the lawmakers who support Trump– debate whether he did wrong or not. The facts are: Trump is a source of evil unmatched in modern history. We face a terrible decision to have to do this, but the truth is, the President himself claims our country conducted an unfair election. The only unfair thing about the election was the Republicans choosing the wrong candidate to run again. The party of fat elephants will remain bloated until they are recalled by voters. Anyone who thinks Trump is fit to lead is as delusional as the man himself. Good luck out there, Republicans. You’re going nowhere- fast. The people have spoken. I worry for our nation. I worry for our children.

Well I hope she enjoys her time in office for this period because she will not be elected again, since she can not support Wyoming voters, who voted to keep Trump.

Election fraud not investigated, obvious fake out rage about a few, (100’s) out of (100,,000’s) , unverified, no time to investigate, which side they were on, of people trespassing and committing disorderly conduct at the capitol “false flag?”. Thanks for letting us know where you stand Liz. I am with you.. You have every right to speak your mind. Go Liz. No censorship here.
