Vern Warfield will leave tonight for Oakland, California, where he will enter Berkley University.
Fire believed to have originated in a Ford automobile belonging to Billy Winters practically destroyed the car and badly damaged the T.B. Freeman garage about 9 o’clock last night. The car was being stored there.
Henry Schuler of Story has been appointed superintendent of the Story fish hatchery. He succeeds Bliss Bayne who was recently named the state fish commissioner.
Ranchers of the Ulm community will have their farm bureau organization and membership meeting at 2 o’clock this afternoon.
