Sheridan Commission on 2021 Holidays, Member Assignments

Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to approve the holiday and other closures for the coming 2021 calendar year, and also voted to approve the assignments to boards, commissions and committees for each county commissioner.
The closures are typical, including Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Memorial Day, but includes Sheridan’s traditional closure for the Sheridan WYO Rodeo.
The commissioners approved board memberships and liaison positions for various entities such as the SAWS Joint Powers Board, Critical Air Service Team, and the Lake DeSmet Advisory Board.
Holiday Closures 2021:
New Year’s Day, January 1st; Equality Day, January 18th; President’s Day, February 15th; Good Friday, April 2nd, courthouse closes at 1pm; Memorial Day, May 31st; Independence Day, observed, July 5th; Sheridan WYO Rodeo Activities, July 9th, courthouse closes at 10am; Labor Day, September 6th; Veteran’s Day, November 11th; Thanksgiving Day, November 25th; Employee Appreciation Day, November 26th; Christmas Day, observed, December 24th; New Year’s Day 2022, observed, December 31st; as well as any other holiday proclaimed by the commission.
