Lake DeSmet Advisory Board Meets Wednesday

The December meeting of the Lake DeSmet Advisory Board will be this Wednesday, and one topic to be addressed will be the ongoing review of the Lake DeSmet Shoreline Regulations

Shoreline regulations have been a topic since the county commission asked the board to review them, after landowners at the lake contacted the commission, wanting to make changes to their properties that weren’t allowed under the current regulations.

Also on the agenda for the meeting is a status report on the lake by the Operating Department, open topic discussion, and an executive session.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 3pm in the Johnson County Road & Bridge Meeting Room and is open to the public.

The meeting will also be offered via the ZOOM meeting platform.
