A street closure request for the upcoming Lighted Christmas Parade has been approved by the Buffalo City Council.

Ray Klein, with the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, made the request of the council at their recent meeting, asking for the closure of Main Street from Angus Street to Fort Street from 6 to 7pm on Saturday, December 5th.

Police Chief Jason Carder also requested no parking downtown from 4pm through the end of the parade.

Both the street closure and the no parking requests were approved by the council.
