Johnson County EOC Gives COVID Update

The Johnson County COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center and the Johnson County Healthcare Center had their weekly media briefing Tuesday morning to discuss the latest on the situation within the county.

According to Robin King, with Johnson County Public Health, as of Monday there were 132 hospitalized patients in Wyoming with one patient hospitalized in Buffalo.

Currently there are 29 active COVID-19 cases in the county.

Public Health Nurse Trisha Thompson discussed the concerns over the possibility of healthcare facilities being overrun with COVID Patients and why the general public should also be concerned.
