Senator Barrasso on Supreme Court Nominee
The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday unanimously voted to advance the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the full Senate. All of the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee boycotted the vote. U.S. Senator John Barrasso, in an interview with Sheridan Media Thursday, talked about the character of the Supreme Court nominee.
Barrasso said Judge Barrett provided all the right answers during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings earlier this month.
The Senate is expected to vote on confirmation of the nomination early next week. Once confirmed, it is possible that Judge Barrett will participate in the Supreme Court’s next private meeting on October, 30.
