Community Holiday Dinner Canceled

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday that this year’s Community Holiday Dinner at the Sheridan Holiday Inn has been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Community Holiday Dinner Planning Committee Chairman Erin DeFries said they’ve explored many options and scenarios, and they can’t see how they can make it work with the large number of people that attend the dinner and the social distancing requirements.

DeFries wanted to thank the committee and volunteers for all of the work they have done to help make the dinner a huge success over the years, adding that he expects to have a successful 30th annual dinner next year.

Also, the Chamber is reminding businesses that it is now time  to register to participate in the annual Sheridan Christmas Stroll. The deadline to register is  this upcoming Friday.
