Aaron PalmerThe City of Buffalo is currently searching for a new Building Inspector to take over for current Building Inspector Toby Rhoades, who will be retiring at the end of the calendar year.
During his report to the city council this week, Rhoades said he has received one application for the position, and will be advertising again to try to fill the position by the beginning of January.
According to Councilman Scott Madsen, Rhoades made the decision to retire earlier this year and informed the council of his decision in August, when the decision was made to begin the search for his replacement.
Rhoades began working as the building inspector for the City of Buffalo in September of 2011, coming from Red Lodge, Montana where he worked as the building inspector there.
He was born and raised in Newcastle, Wyoming.
