Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 9, 1920.
Surgeon General H. S. Cummings, head of the U.S. public health service, inspected Fort MacKenzie this morning with a view of deciding whether the government will be able to use the plant as a hospital for government patients. Following the inspection, the general was taken to Hotel Lodore at Piney for dinner.
Officers for the new Sheridan Country club will be elected at a meeting tonight, but no definite location for the club will be decided upon.
Members of the Sheridan Commercial club, meeting today, decided to assist in the exhibit of Sheridan county products at both the state fair at Douglas and the Billings, Montana, fair later this month.
