Jo Co Commission Sends Letter on Roadless Rule Rescission

Johnson County’s Commissioners considered and then approved sending a letter to Brad Kinder, Acting Director, Ecosystem Management Coordination, US Forest Service, Department of Agriculture with the county’s position on the rescission of the roadless rule on the National Forests.

Chairman Bill Novotny explained the county’s position further.

After some discussion, the commission voted to approve sending a letter with the county’s position, along with forwarding the two letters received from the public.
