No Kings Rally and Voter Information Event is Saturday in Sheridan

A No Kings Rally and voter information event is scheduled for Saturday in Sheridan. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

According to the website https://www.nokings.org/, unlike prior anti-administration rallies focused on broad policy protests, this fourth nationwide rally shifts focus toward nonpartisan early voter participation and community mobilization ahead of the midterm elections. One of the organizers of the event in Sheridan, Danielle Arnoux says the event will get underway at 11 am, this upcoming Saturday at the Sheridan County Courthouse.

Participants will meet back at the Courthouse at 1 pm. Arnoux said their main focus Saturday is to provide voter information so that people can make an informed decision at the polls on November 3. Participants are encouraged to bring American Flags, signs, and even dress in their favorite Halloween costumes if they wish.
