Jo Co Commission OK’s Special Prosecutor

Johnson County’s Commissioners, at their Tuesday meeting, approved a request from the County Attorney’s Office to appoint an outside special prosecutor for an upcoming trial.

County Attorney Tucker Ruby explained further.

According to the Resolution read by Chairman Bill Novotny, the special prosecutor is needed to resolve a conflict of interest in criminal matters involving the State of Wyoming vs. Richard Kirven.

The commission voted to approve the Resolution appointing Daniel E. Erramouspe (AIR-uh-mose) as special prosecutor for Johnson County.
