JCSD1 Enrollment Up from End of of Last School Year
Enrollment in Johnson County Schools district-wide is up so far this year over the 2025-26 school year, although student numbers did drop in some schools.
According to the Enrollment Report from the school board’s last meeting, enrollment this year is at 1,079 students, up from 1,073 at the end of last year.
By school, Meadowlark Elementary has 208 students, up by 26.
Clear Creek Middle School sits at 220 students, down by 19.
Cloud Peak Elementary has 219, up by one.
Buffalo High School has 310 students, no change over the end of 2025-26.
New West Alternative High School has 28 students, down by two.
And the Kaycee K-12 School has 94 students, down by seven from last year.
