Jo Co Historical Society to Present Talk on Revolutionary War Spies

The Johnson County Historical Society will present a talk on spies during the Revolutionary War on October 5.

The talk, called, “The Culper Spy Ring General Washington’s Spies in New York City 1778-1783” will be presented by James “HB” Puckett Capt. (Ret) USNR.

Puckett has, in recent years, given a number of talks on military history, including ships carrying the name “USS Wyoming,” the Native American Code Talkers of WWI and WWII, and the American POW’s of the Vietnam War.

The program will be offered on Monday, October 5 beginning at 6:30 in the evening in the Twing Room at the Johnson County Library in Buffalo, located at 171 N. Adams.

It is free to attend and open to the public.
