Fulmer Will Temporarily Close for Renovations

The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will close as staff move much of its collection into the children’s department and spaces behind the public areas. Library Director Amy Long said the move will allow the library to reopen for limited services while crews complete the second and third phases of its renovation. 

The work is on a tight schedule because the library must meet deadlines tied to a grant that has funded the renovation.

Long hopes the completed adult fiction, nonfiction, Inner Circle and children’s areas will reopen before November. The children’s area will include a new activity zone. But the library will have to skip holding the Fall Fest and Day of the Dead celebrations this year. Long assured the public that they will return next year.
