Passport Acceptance Fairs Scheduled in Wyoming
The U.S. Department of State will host a series of passport acceptance fairs throughout Wyoming this month. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Members of the public applying for their first U.S. passport or renewing a previous passport are encouraged to attend and apply in person. The passport fairs will take place September 23 in Cody, September 24 in Casper and September 25 in Buffalo. Each of the fairs will run from 9 am to 3 pm. The fair in Buffalo will take place in the Fraley Room of the Johnson County Library.
According to information from the U.S. Department of State, the fairs are open to the public and are intended for families planning travel, students preparing for study abroad programs, business professionals, and anyone needing a U.S. passport. All applicants will need to bring proof of U.S. citizenship, such as an original birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or previous U.S. passport. Applicants will also need a government-issued photo ID, a current 2” x 2” passport photo, a completed passport application form, and payment.
