SPD Hosts City of Sheridan Citizen Academy

Sheridan Police Department Chief Travis Koltiska and Captain Tom Ringley to discuss the department’s role in the City of Sheridan Citizen Academy following its Sept. 9 session. 

According to the Chief, during the academy module, he outlined his policing philosophy and the department’s special operations, administrative services and patrol operations bureaus.

Participants learned how each bureau, Special Operations, Administrative Services and Patrol Operations Bureau works together to serve the community.

The academy also toured the police station and watched Officer Johnathon Stallions, partnered with Ava, conduct a K-9 demonstration.
